Happy birthday! Going to a quirky tea room sounds lovely, you should call them or send them an email to see if they do anything special for birthdays/events. As far as other ideas, it really depends what you and your friends are in to! Do you have any local markets? You could match up the dates so that you can all go for tea then spend an hour or two getting lost amongst market stalls :)
